Tomorrow is Report Card Day, students will receive report cards, academic jeopardy letters, and MClass reading home connect letters. If you have questions or concerns about your child's progress please contact the teacher for a conference.

Thursday, January 23, 2025 will be a Remote Learning Day for all of Nash County Public Schools (NCPS). Remote learning assignments may be accessed through Canvas, Google Classroom or other communication from your child’s teachers or principal. Office hours will also be offered by teachers if permissible. Please look for detailed information in Rooms and/or your student’s learning management system.
NCPS has procedures in place to ensure students are not negatively affected if they are unable to complete tasks due to a lack of technology, power, or other challenges. If you have any questions, please contact your student’s teacher(s).
Friday, January 24, 2025: All NCPS schools will operate on a two-hour delay due to the potential for icy road conditions. Breakfast will be available at schools. Students may be dropped off 40 minutes prior to the start of their school day. Essential personnel should report at their regular time, provided it is safe to do so.

Nash County Public Schools will operate on an early release schedule Friday, Jan. 10, 2025, as follows:
All Elementary Schools will be released early at 2:00 p.m.
All Middle Schools and Tar River Academy will be released early at 2:30 p.m.
All traditional High Schools will be released early at 1:30 p.m.
CITI High School and Early College High School will be released early at 11:30 a.m
All exams will continue as planned.

NES student council is will be hosting a toy drive. We will be accepting any new toys, coloring books, art supplies, stuffed animals, or small blankets to help spread holiday cheer in our community! We will collect items through the week of December 9-13.

Tomorrow, December 6, 2024 is the final day for our Penguin Patch Holiday Shop, please send money tomorrow morning if you would like your child to purchase gifts. We are inviting all of our families to join us for our Winter Program of Holiday Traditions. All kindergarten, first, and second grade students will be performing on Thursday, December 12, 2024. The PTA meeting will begin at 6pm, followed by the performance. All students should arrive by 5:45pm dressed in festive holiday colors. Our sports teams tryouts are next week, Monday boys basketball, Tuesday girls basketball, and Wednesday cheer tryouts. The flyers and permission slips have been sent home with fourth and fifth grade students. Lastly our student council is will be hosting a toy drive. Nashville Elementary will be participating in the elementary basketball league. The league will run from March 1 through April 12, 2025. Our 4th & 5th grade students have an opportunity to participate and are welcomed to tryout for our boys or girls basketball team or our cheer team. Please see the flyers below for information. Please join us Thursday November 7th from 4pm to 7pm for a night of family, food, and fun at McDonald's in Nashville, NC. The staff of NES will celebrate with Grimace, and McDonalds will give a portion of proceeds from the night to our school. It will be lots of fun!
Please pick up all Candy Man fundraiser items today in the gym. We will be here until 6pm to give out items.
