The N.E.S.T

Nashville's Engineering, Science, and Technology Center

We are excited to introduce the Nashville Engineering, Science, and Technology Center, or N.E.S.T. The N.E.S.T. is a wonderful new addition to our media center that will enable our students to develop 21st century learning skills and practice real world problem solving. While visiting the N.E.S.T., students will be using the Engineering Design Process to design, build, and test marble runs and other structures. They will also have the opportunity to create one of a kind LEGO creations, and explore electronic circuitry. They will be learning computer coding and using this skill to operate robots and to design and create their own video games. They may even have the chance to play a tune on a banana piano! These are just a few of the activities we will be doing this year in the N.E.S.T.!
