Good Evening Seniors, Just a reminder, some of you have been identified as CTE competitors, meaning you have completed Part 1 & 2 of a CTE course. As part of the graduation requirements, you are required to take the WorkKeys assessments. This is mandatory for graduation. The WorkKeys assessment will now be held on two different days to accommodate our numbers and have enough staff for testing, some will test this Wednesday, March 5th and some will test Thursday, March 6th, starting at 8:00 AM on both days. It is crucial that you arrive on time, report to the Media Center and bring a charged device along with its charger. You can find your name posted based on the day of your testing in the cafeteria near the "EOC Countdown" posters. As a reminder, all testing will take place in the Media Center. Attendance is mandatory, so please be sure to attend. Thank you, and if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Vaccine Requirement for Senior Year WHO: All Juniors going to 12th grade next school year (August 2025)! WHAT: A second dose of Meningococcal Conjugate Vaccine (MenACWY or MCV4) WHEN: Required before entering the 12th grade or by 17 years of age, whichever comes first. This is your early reminder to get this done soon or over the summer to prevent any issues at the start of next school year. You will be excluded from school within the first 30 days of school if it is not completed. Do the following: 1. Contact your doctor/health care provider or local health department to meet this immunization requirement before the school year starts. 2. Submit your updated immunization record to your school nurse (Amber Moore). You may drop it off at the school or email me (almoore@ncpschools.net) More about the vaccine: The required vaccine is the booster dose (dose #2) of meningococcal conjugante vaccine (MenACWY or MCV4). You received the first one in middle school. Meningococcal B vaccine (MenB) is NOT the required vaccine. This is a different type of vaccine that is "recommended" for teenagers but not "required". MenB is NOT a substitute for the correct vaccine. https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/vpd/mening/index.html
