Southern Nash High School

On Thursday May, 16th, our Advanced Placement US History students participated in their 5th Annual Oral History Project with the staff at the Country Doctor Museum. Students interviewed 31 people who shared their memories of dealing with sickness and disease at a time when healthcare was not as readily accessible as it is today. These interviews were videoed and will be archived on the museum's website. We thank Mrs. Anderson and the staff at the museum for hosting the event and thanks to the community members for supporting our students.

Our jazz band has been busy this weekend! They performed in the NC Music Educators Association Jazz Performance Adjudication on Friday evening and received an EXCELLENT rating! Then they performed in the Nashville Blooming Festival Parade on Saturday! The annual Jazz Dinner is coming up on the 18th at White Oak Hill FWB Church - contact any jazz band member for tickets!
