Driver's Ed Information: The next Drivers Ed class is scheduled to begin September 9 (September 9-20). If you are interested in taking Drivers Ed and will be at least 14 1/2 by September 9, go to www.jdscarolinas.com and click on the Nash County tab. Make sure to go to the Nash County link at the top of the page to pay your fee for the class ($47.15) Take a screenshot of your receipt number and go back to the JDS Nash Co. page. Click on the September 9-20 class for Southern Nash (at the bottom of the page) and fill out the google form. If you do not fill out the google form, you will not be in the class, even if you have paid the fee for the class. You will be registered for the class when you complete these steps, and you will be contacted approximately one week before the class begins to explain how the class will work and what will be expected of you in the class. We have an English Teacher vacancy!

SNHS will be providing our sophomores and juniors the opportunity to participate in the PSAT/NMSQT test on Thursday, October 17th. Those who take it in their junior year may meet the requirements to enter the National Merit Scholarship Program, an academic competition for recognition and scholarships. The test will be given during the school day on our campus. All interested students should sign up at the front office or pay online. The cost of the test is $18 and this must be paid when you sign up.
The last day to sign up will be 9/6/23.
