Remote Learning Due to School Closures
Remote Learning Plan Due to School Closure
In the event that our district closes our building due to inclement weather or we have a planned
virtual day, we will execute the following plan:
A Connect-Ed phone call will be made and posted to Dojo/Facebook.
Teachers/Staff will use Google Meet for any virtual conferencing or scheduled parent meetings.
Attendance
Teachers will take attendance through Powerschool. Students will be counted present if they
- Join a Google Meet with their teacher(s).
- Complete and submit daily assignments through Google Classroom (3-5) or Seesaw (K-2).
- Two-way communication with the teacher via Dojo, email, or phone call.

Instruction
Schedules for the day will be posted to Class Dojo by teachers (and/or emailed to students) by
8:30.
Instruction will be a combination of live meetings with teachers through the use of Google
Meet. Assignments will be posted on Google Classroom (3-5) and Seesaw (K-2). Students will
be notified if assignments will be sent via student email.
Teachers will notify students/parents of office hours so that students can check in for additional
help or with questions concerning assignments.
Communication
Class Dojo will be the main method of communication for class information. Parents can
contact teachers directly via email.
