Cardinal Announcement

I hope everyone has enjoyed their break with friends and family and are ready to get back to work at school tomorrow.  We have 3 weeks and two days of school left for the 2021 year.  We need to take advantage of this time each day while at school.  We appreciate everyone for the effort put in to work through this first semester of a more normal school year.  Everyone has adapted to wearing masks, and following the often frustrating protocols we are being asked to manage at the school level.  We thank you all for your patience with buses and your diligence with monitoring your child's symptoms through this time and making arrangements as symptoms come up.  With the temperatures fluctuating from really cold to mild it is important to have your child's name in their sweatshirts and jackets so we can get them returned to anyone who misplaces or forgets theirs on the campus somewhere.  As we end this year let's keep a focus on learning as there are many things that can distract us during this time of year.  The work our parents, teachers and students do to be successful at school  is very hard, keeping a mindset of gratitude, and a positive perspective and attitude can help us through the adversity.  One of my favorite quotes from a book I recently read goes like this...If you focus on what you lack you lose what you have, if you focus on what you have you gain what you lack.  Let's take a strength based approach to ensure we end 2021 strong
